In my opinion, Architecture is an art form, like poetry, music, cinema or dance.

It gives me the opportunity to build and contextualize an emotion, shaping it in a specific period and place. 

Imagine having the chance to thrill people with your work; contributing to improve their quality of life, inspiring them, proposing them a new approach, evoking a memory or giving them a new one to return to.

How could you just ignore it?

Art is the key to bring our humanity back, taking care of our sensibility and promoting our critical and sensitive attitude towards what surrounds us.

​

My goal is to make architecture an art, that is committed to our time, to the planet and to the emotion.

​

I also feel identify with all the opportunites that the creative process can offer us.

Working without boundaries could bring us problems by slowing down the speed of all the process, without take into account neither the time or the means.

However it is the only way to make real innovation.

​

There is a quote from Paulo Mendes Da Rocha that I particularly appreciate and it has accompanied me a long time: 

"...Then I've arrived to the conclussion you have to think freely.

As Architecture is not,

it's just something that can be."

​

These two points of view, which are innate to my personality,

have not been reconcilable with the reality many of the times. 

​

I've learned that it takes a lot of ingenuity to get beauty and deliberation to have a place in the current social engine in an effective way, so that the eyes of at least a relative majority of people can see it. 

​

And this last counterpoint, that balances all, 

is what my university period have taught me.

​
